MUSICIANS


WOODLAND is an original Celtic-inspired ensemble. The music is a rich tapestry of instrumentation, including harp, flute, piano, violin, guitar, bass, percussion and drum kit.

Woodland features harmony vocals, weaving ornate bardic poetry to ancient melodies. The bands live performances journey between soft sensual acoustic sounds and melody-driven rhythmic tribal rock. (Live show features the Brian Froud Digital Lightshow)

Susan McKeown is from Dublin, Ireland. Here is a remarkable vocalist, who has not only established herself as an interpreter of traditional song with "one of the most powerful and distinctive voices in Irish music" (THE IRISH VOICE), but as a woman who rocks.

JOHNNY CUNNINGHAM began playing the fiddle at the age of seven. Known for his lightening-fast reels and hauntingly beautiful Scottish airs, he also delights audiences worldwide with his wry humor and stories.



BROTHER ...is one of the most successful Indie exports Australia has made to the US. They blend the ancient with the contemporary, creating a unique mix of rock & roll with strong primal influences. Combining traditional rock instruments (electric guitars and drums) with the haunting and captivating sounds of the bagpipe and didgeridoo, the band, as Music Connection says, "stirs a primitive, primal passion."

The New Potatoes are solidly established as Arizona's premier Celtic band, performing the music of Ireland, Scotland and Brittany, France. A New Potatoes performance is lively, dynamic and filled with much variety (including jigs and reels, humorous songs and heart-felt airs).This group of tallented musicians are listed on the artist roster for the Arizona Commission On The Arts and has executed numerous residencies and performed at festivals throughout the state since 1985. Ani Williams has been recording her enchanting style of music since 1981, has been produced and distributed by such noteworthy companies as Music Design, New Leaf, Ladyslipper, and internationally in Europe, England, Australia, and Mexico.

WILD THYME

Wild Thyme is a six-piece high-energy band based in central Arizona. The band featuures an eclectic mix of musical instruments including thrilling bagpipe solos, soul stirring drumming and beautiful vocals.

Wild Thyme has developed a wide fan base in Arizona and Las Vegas, where they have released their debut CD, "Gentle Rain".
