A special “Kid’s Area” will feature the
Horning’s Hideout playground equipment, organized games,
crafts and volunteer chaperones. Please stay with your child
at all times. Please also take advantage of the free children
identification bracelets available in the “Kid’s
Area.” The children ID bracelets will identify the child
and parent’s name. This year
we have also organized a “Lost Child Protocol.”
We request that any parent that becomes separated from their
child notify staff or security immediately. When a child is
missing all existing vehicles will be stopped so that the
identity of any exiting children can be verified. We apologize
for any inconvenience that results from this policy. Let’s
keep our children safe!
A “Family Camping” area will be open to anyone
wishing to camp with children or otherwise enjoy a more quiet
camping experience. We ask that noise and partying be kept
out of this area.
A beer tent will be in the concert area. No outside alcohol
will be permitted into the concert area. Please help us keep
the Hideout clean by picking up after yourself, cleaning up
your campsite and using the
recycling/trash containers.
Please observe the following Horning’s Hideout Rules:
No Campfires.
No Dogs or other Pets Allowed.
No Nitrous Permitted.

No admittance past the upper road checkpoint without a festival
ticket.
Please make arrangements in advance.
Festival wristband must be worn at all times.
Beer will be offered for sale in the beer tent inside the
concert area.
Please bring your ID and drink responsibly!
Coolers and backpacks are subject to search upon entry into
the concert area.
Propane and charcoal cooking stoves are permitted.
This festival is held on private grounds, graciously offered
by the Horning
family, so we ask that you treat our hosts and their land
with the utmost
respect and courtesy.
Parking/ RV information
The parking areas will be adjacent, but separate, from the
camping areas. No
tents or awnings will be permitted in the parking areas. Faerieworlds
patrons will
be permitted to camp in any designated camping area, however
patrons will be
directed to their parking spot. Please do not move your vehicle
once you are
parked! Be prepared for a short walk from your parking spot
to your camp
area.
Vehicle re-entry is permitted (keep your ticket stub and keep
your wristband
on). We encourage patrons to bring enough supplies for the
three-day event.
During peak incoming traffic times exiting vehicles may experience
delays.
All vehicles entering Horning’s Hideout are subject
to a brief search by our
staff looking for illegal substances, animals and non-paying
customers.
Recreational vehicles, trailers and buses will be parked in
a separate area.
The RV Parking Lot is limited in size. Space in this lot is
available on a
first come first served basis only – no reservations
will be taken. No
electric hook ups or dump stations will be available. Upon
arrival at
Horning’s Hideout RVs will be held in a staging area
at the top of the hill
until such time that traffic clears. We regret that due to
size limitations
once the RV Parking Lot is full that all RVs and trailers
will be parked in
a remote lot. A shuttle will be available to/from the remote
RV lot. If you
are planning on bringing your RV we encourage you to arrive
early to take
advantage of the close-in RV Parking Lot.
Horning’s Hideout has limited on-site space available
for parking. On-site
parking will be assigned on a first come first served basis.
Overflow
parking will be available at the top of the hill. Patrons
directed to park
in the “Overflow Parking” area are asked to wait
for the shuttle and not
walk down the road.
Special needs information
A separate area will be reserved for Handicap parking and
camping. The
Special Needs Parking Lot is the only parking area where car
camping is
allowed. Tents, awnings, RVs and trailers are permitted in
this area to
anyone displaying an official handicap placard in their vehicle.
A handicap person viewing area will be reserved in the concert
field.
Handicap toilets will be available in both the reserved viewing
area and the
reserved parking/camping area.
Handicap information is also available at the point of ticket
sales and at
the band merchandise area. If any special assistance in needed
please visit
one of the two information areas or stop any Event Staffer.
We are happy to

A Friendly Reminder
Please help the volunteers keep Horning’s Hideout a
clean and beautiful
place. We encourage you to take advantage of the free garbage
bags available
at the front gate and at the band merchandise area. We can
use your extra
help each night cleaning the concert area after the music
ends. Please use
both the garbage containers and the recycling containers.
Please also clean
up the area around your campsite when you are packing up to
leave. Horning’s
Hideout is a special place and with your help we hope to keep
it that way.
